I’ve been testing out the Panasonic MX-ZX1800 blender recently. It’s a fantastic piece of kitchen equipment that looks great on the counter and works really efficiently. You can

My blender gets used regularly for making smoothies, blending soups, and mixing up pancake batters. Today I’m going to share with you three of my favourite smoothie recipes. There’s one which is perfect for breakfast, one that’s great for when you’ve been working out, and a super luxurious one that tastes like pudding.
For each of these smoothies, just add all of the ingredients to your blender jug and whizz them up. I love the smoothie function on the MX-ZX1800, because you can just set it running for a set time. If your blender doesn’t have a similar function, I’d reckon on blending each smoothie for a minute or two.
Berry Delicious Breakfast Smoothie (serves 2)
This is a smoothie that I regularly have for breakfast. It’s got a great, fresh flavour and really sets you up for the day. If you want to up the protein in this smoothie, you can easily throw in a scoop of vanilla protein powder.
- 1 cup (250mls) of frozen mixed berries
- 1 chopped banana
- 500mls of skimmed milk
- 125mls of 0% Greek yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
Sticky Toffee Pudding Smoothie (serves 2)
I love this smoothie, it tastes just like a dessert in drink form. It’s thick, sweet and very satisfying, but probably not one that you want to drink for breakfast every day! Because of the dates in it, it might take a little more blending than the other recipes.
- 4-5 Medjool dates
- 1 chopped banana
- 500mls of almond milk
- 2 tablespoons of almond butter
- 2 tablespoons of runny honey
Choco-Coconut Smoothie (serves 2)
This smoothie is one that I love to make when I’m doing a lot of exercise. It’s great for post-workout recovery because it has got protein, carbs and it tastes fantastic!
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder
- 4 generous tablespoons of 0% Greek yoghurt
- 500ml coconut milk (the kind that comes in a carton, not the tinned kind)
- 1 chopped banana
These all taste fantastic and are easy to make in the Panasonic MX-ZX1800 blender*. What’s your favourite smoothie recipe?
These smoothies look so smooth, the machine definitely gives a good blend. It’s the one thing that puts me off some smoothies how thick some can be but these look easy to go down x
Your smoothie recipes sound delicious. I usually have a smoothie with fresh and frozen fruit and some type of greens in the mornings. If I’m after a treat, I like to make one with chocolate protein powder, peanut butter, almond milk and some ice. A healthier version of a chocolate malt.
Mmmm, your chocolate malt smoothie sounds yummy!
Wow, I’ve never ever come across a sticky toffee pudding smoothie before – that sounds amazing! I rarely make smoothies myself at home, and I really should! xx
It’s so yummy – I can’t make them very often though!
I do love a smoothie for breakfast or as a snack. These look very tasty.
My husband would love the sticky toffee smoothie – what a cool idea!
I love smoothies and try to make them as often as I can for breakfast or post workout
My daughter recently bought a smoothie maker and is looking for new recipes so I have bookmarked this! Thank you for sharing x
Loved the idea of the breakfast smoothie, it looks a lovely colour sometimes I look at the colour and it looks like paint! But I could definitely try that one
