Ah, lovely Arbroath! I lost my heart to this Scottish town when I visited back in July.
Arbroath is a little town on the North Sea coast of Scotland. It was built up around the fishing trade, and you can still see fishing boats in the harbour there.
I only spent one night in Arbroath, but really fell in love with the town. I always find that I feel happiest when I’m by the sea, and the wild seafront at Arbroath was just wonderful. You just can’t beat that fresh sea air, can you? Add some fantastic fresh fish and chips into the equation, and I really felt I was in heaven!
My home for the night at Arbroath was the Old Brewhouse, and you can read my review over on the blog later this week.
