In April 2017, I took my sons Ollie and Lyle to Berlin for the first time. It’s a visit that I’d been looking forward to for years.
One of the highlights of the trip for me was visiting the Brandenburg Gate, and actually being able to walk underneath it from one side to the other. Now that might not seem like a big deal for some people. But considering that it was impossible for so many years, it was one of my absolute must-do’s for our trip.
We spotted this statue at the side of the gate, and stopped to take photos. I got into a discussion with a couple of men about which god the statue represents.
We couldn’t decide, and even after a quick Google, I was none the wiser. Any ideas?
