Discover a Taste of Christmas at Konditor and Cook

By Sally Akins - 19 November, 2018

Discover the delicious range of Konditor & Cook Christmas treats, which make a fabulously festive gift!

Contains PR Samples

Food is always an important part of any celebration, and even more so at Christmas.

Just imagine the roast turkey at the centre of Christmas dinner, a flaming Christmas pudding, or a plate of baked Christmas treats. These are all the things that come to mind when I think of Christmas.

So I was really thrilled to receive a parcel full of festive goodies from Konditor & Cook recently. Konditor & Cook are a family run cake business for the 21st century and have been sharing their passion for baking since 1993.

Konditor & Cook have six stores across London, a same day cake delivery service and a Cake school. They also sell their delicious range of baked good online, perfect for those of us who don’t live in London.

Read on to find out more about these scrumptious Christmas goodies, and find out how you could win a selection for yourself!

Click here to go straight to the giveaway

My parcel included a pack of six Mince Pies and a selection box of Konditor & Cook’s best selling Mince Pies.

Konditor & Cook’s Mince Pies are a thing of beauty.

The tender all-butter shortcrust pastry shell is filled to the brim with a sweet, spicy vegetarian mincemeat. These mince pies are regularly voted amongst the best in the UK, and it’s really no surprise. They taste delicious, and look like home made mince-pies but better!

And the selection of Christmas cookies is the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea or coffee, or even a glass of mulled wine.

The Lemon cookies and Cinnamon stars are both made with almonds instead of wheat flour. They’re light and crumbly, with delicate flavours. Tiny pieces of candied mixed peel and a thin layer of sugar icing complete these little mouthfuls of festive flavour.

But I think my favourite from the cookie selection is the Vanilla Kipferl. They’re a German biscuit, crescent shaped and dusted with icing sugar. They’re delightfully crisp and the flavour of hazelnuts really shines through.

And if you’re looking for a cake to celebrate the festive season, but don’t like the traditional fruit cake, Konditor & Cook have some great alternatives. How about their Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake, with layers of sticky toffee sponge enveloped in vanilla mascarpone frosting with a gooey caramel drizzle. It’s exactly what you need for a family celebration!

Or you could go for the Chocolate Baileys Cake with layers of delicious chocolate sponge and Baileys buttercream. They also have a vegan Amaretto & Cherry Cake, which is new for this season. It’s made with a vegan chocolate sponge, vegan chocolate and amaretto ganache and layered with delicious ‘cherry amour’ jam.

Konditor & Cook also have a range of gift vouchers available – I know I’d be very happy to open one of those on Christmas morning!

And I have a delicious selection of Konditor & Cook Christmas Goodies for one lucky SallyAkins.com reader to win!

This giveaway is now closed and the winner will be announced shortly

Konditor & Cook will be sending a pack of 6 Mince Pies and a Cookie Gift Box worth a total of £34 to the lucky winner of this Christmas Giveaway. They’re perfect for treating yourself or to give to someone as a delicious gift.

Of course, entering my Christmas giveaway is easy. Simply log into the Rafflecopter below and answer the simple question below. There are also some bonus social media entries that you can use to boost your chance of winning.

This giveaway is open to UK residents aged 18 and over. Entries will close at 11.59pm BST on 8th December 2018.

And the question you need to answer to enter this giveaway is: What’s your favourite Christmas sweet treat?

Good luck!
