Autumn is here, and October is shaping up to be a fantastic month here on SallyAkins.com!
Although I’m thoroughly enjoying this unseasonably warm weather at the moment, it’s hard to deny that Autumn is well and truly here. The leaves are changing colour and every time I mow the lawn, I wonder if it’s the last time for 2018.
But although I do miss the long hot summer days, I love the Autumn as well. So I’m looking forward to plenty of fun over the next few months, and of course I have lots planned here on the blog as well.
In Travel
I still have more content to bring to you from my trip to Nuremberg last month, including a round up of the best food to try in the city. I’ll be taking a look at a more serious aspect of the city as well, with a post about Nuremberg’s Obligation to the Past.
I’ve been trying out some fantastic food in Shropshire and Birmingham lately. So you can look forward to reviews of more great places to eat over the next few weeks, and a round up of the best places for Afternoon Tea in Birmingham.
And I’ve also been treated to a wonderfully relaxing spa day at Fishmore Hall in Ludlow, which I’ll be reviewing on the blog very soon.
And I’m very excited to be able to tell you that at the end of October, I’ll be returning to Scotland. This time, I’m going to be visiting the Isle of Bute and the Portavadie spa resort, and I’ll be travelling there with Caledonia MacBrayne ferries. I’ll be writing about here on the blog next month, but you’ll be able to follow me during my trip on social media.

As always, skincare becomes a focus for me in Autumn, and so I have two skincare reviews lined up for you here on SallyAkins.com in the near future.
