March is finally over, and here comes April. Welcome to a brand new month at SallyAkins.com!
I don’t know about you, but March seemed to go on for a very long time.
The month started off with the tail end of the terrible flooding which affected towns like Ironbridge and Shrewsbury. But who would have thought that we’d end the month with the country under lockdown, and social distancing being the new normal?
Of course, being unable to travel has had an impact on the content that I had planned for April. Right now I should have been packing to head off for a trip to Amsterdam with my sons, and later in the month I would have been spending a day at RHS Cardiff.
But I still have some travel posts to share with you, starting off with a review of the Kirkstyle Inn, which I visited last month before the travel restrictions were put in place. And I’ll also be taking you on a virtual tour of Liverpool, one of the UK’s most vibrant cities.
Since we’re all staying at home so much more these days, I thought it would be a good time for a few more home and lifestyle posts. I’ll be sharing some interior decor tips for renters, as well as some ways to bring the outdoors into your home.
