Happy New Year! I hope that you’ve had a wonderful time celebrating the festive season, and that you’re well rested and ready for the year ahead.
I’m not making resolutions this year, but you can be sure that I’m going to be making the most of 2015!!
I’m really looking forward to 2015, the year when I will celebrate my 40th birthday. I have spent the last few years dreading this birthday, but all of a sudden I’m really excited about turning 40 and what the next decade will bring.
2014 saw me lose over 2 stone in weight, reduced the amount of sugar and alcohol in my diet, and I increased my fitness quite a lot. All of this really helped to boost my self-confidence and how I feel about myself.
But I don’t want to stop there so I’m going to be blogging regularly about my quest to keep on getting fitter during 2015. I’m putting together a list of exercise classes and activities that I want to try out, I want to pack the next 12 months full of fun and energy.
I’ve also got more plans for this website, which include a branch out into vlogging. 12 months ago I didn’t even like posting a photograph of myself on this website, so it’s quite a big step for me to be considering vlogging. I’m really excited about it and more than a little bit nervous, but I hope you’ll like the results.
2015 is going to be a blast – I hope you’ll join me for it!
