Today I’m kicking off this year’s Christmas Gift Guides with my beauty-inspired suggestions for festive gifts. This gift guide includes PR samples.
Beauty products are always a popular choice for Christmas presents. And I’ve picked out some really gorgeous gift ideas for this year’s Christmas Gift Guide. Some of them are products that I’ve tried out myself, and some are ones that I’ve seen online. But they are all gifts that any beauty lover would be happy to find under the Christmas tree, including me!

I always know that Christmas is on the way when I spot the Boots Christmas catalogue in the shops. Flicking through the pages and picking out my favourites is always a fun Christmas tradition!
This year’s selection looks as good as ever, and I really love their skincare gift sets. The Sanctuary Spa range of gift sets* are full of luxurious products at very reasonable prices. This Spend More Time Being gift set* would ideal for popping in your case for a weekend away.
Perfume is a popular Christmas gift idea, and I always hope I’ll find a new bottle under the Christmas tree. The Perfume Shop is a great place to shop for fragrances, whether you’re after a classic favourite or a new gift set for someone to try. This Jimmy Choo Gift Set contains both a 60ml bottle of the Eau de Toilette, and 100ml of the matching body lotion. So you can layer on its pretty floral fragrance for a longer lasting effect.
L’Occitane are still one of my favourite skincare brands, and they have a huge range of gift ideas suitable for people of all ages and skin types – click here to take a look*. I’ve already spotted a few things I’d love to wake up to on Christmas morning, like this pretty Hand Cream Trio Collection.
And I was really impressed by this luxurious Olverum Bath Oil, which was recently sent to me to try out. It contains a blend of essential oils, including pine, lavender, eucalyptus, lemon and exotic verbena. Olverum helps to leave skin soft and supple, helps with decongestion, and eases away stresses and tensions. An Olverum bath is a perfect for winter relaxation, and is available in a range of bottle sizes. There’s even a gorgeous travel set of 3 of these dinky 15ml bottles – perfect for pampering yourself in a hotel. Click here to take a look*
Meanwhile there are even more gorgeous gift sets available over at Superdrug. Makeup Revolution has come up with a great range of gifts sets again, like this 12 Days of Christmas Gift Set*. It includes everything from primer to lip gloss, and even a set of brushes. It’s amazing value, as you’d expect from this brand, so buy it now before it sells out!
Superdrug have also got some great deals on beauty electricals like this TRESemme Keratin Smooth Control Straightener*. The Eco Tools 6 Piece Brush Set* would be a fantastic gift for any beauty lover, and of course they also have gorgeous fragrance gifts like this Elizabeth Arden Red Door Gift Set*.
And I really loved this Bomb Cosmetics Totally Tropical Gift Pack that I recently received for review.
Inside this colourful packaging, the gift box is full of fresh, zesty skincare products to pamper your body. Stick it to the Man-darin soap and a glittery pineapple body butter will drive away any post-Christmas blues. Take a look at the Flamingo Gifts website for this and other gift ideas.
Or for something a bit different, why not let the beauty lover in your life have a go at making their own cosmetics?
This gift set from Naissance contains everything you need to make your own Geranium Rose and Lemon bath bombs. All of the ingredients for 8 bath bombs are included, even dried rose petals and a cute little mould. The kit is cruelty free and vegan friendly, and contains no SLS, parabens or microbeads. Naissance have some lovely gift ideas for natural health living, so take a look at their website to see the range.
And if you’re buying for someone who really has got everything, why not book them a luxurious spa break? This is definitely a Christmas gift idea I’d love to wake up to on Christmas morning!
There are lots of dedicated spas across the country as well as hotels with an attached spa. I recently stayed at the Apex City Quay Hotel and Spa in Dundee, and loved my visit to Fishmore Hotel & Spa in Ludlow. But you could take a look at TripAdvisor* or Booking.com* to find a spa near you with great reviews.
