This week’s video shows how beer is made in the microbrewery at the Brewhouse & Kitchen pub in Lichfield, UK.
Last weekend, Mark and I travelled to Lichfield, after I’d been invited to spend a day at the Brewhouse & Kitchen in the city. We visited the pub last year for a meal just after they had opened, but this time our visit was going to be a little different!
We spent a day with their head brewer, Gabriele Vanzo, learning how he makes beer in their on-site microbrewery. And this week’s video on my YouTube channel shows you what happened during our visit.
It’s a fantastic day out – we learned a lot about beermaking and had good fun as well. The experience covers everything from starting the mash through to fermentation, and at the end of the day, I enjoyed a well deserved pint of Gabriele’s American Pale Ale.
Here’s how we got on:
I’ll be posting a full write-up and review of our day here on the blog very soon.
We attended the Brew Day experience as the guests of the Brewhouse & Kitchen Lichfield, but all opinions are my own and unbiased.
